Its not perfect but I love it.

So, I've been reading around the player reviews and though very hesitant to buy and play, this is what is my experience with the game.

I literally just started playing the game on the PC. (I played for about 10hrs on the ps3 prior.)

Issue #1: I understand why people are very upset. I get it, the resolution blows on this port. BUT the thing is, people don't tell you that the graphics issues with the port are fixed within less than 3 minutes. After these few minutes of about 10-15 mouse clicks, the game works flawlessly as expected for a new-gen pc game.

Issue #2: When I first started the game, I played with keyboard and mouse and my lord, its unplayable. Everything is in terms of an xbox 360.
Yes, if you do not own a ps3/xbox controller, I would be royally pissed as well if not only did I have to spend 40 bucks on the game but another 30 bucks for a controller. You're now $70 deep on a non-exclusive title, I get it.

BUT fortunately I do own a ps3 controller and with the 2 minutes or so it takes patching the game, I am extremely happy with it and it feels just like home (ps3 version) if not better because of my high end PC.

Verdict:

Its a Must-Buy if you don't mind downloading a ~200kb patch by Durante, and you own a ps3/xbox controller. Period. You won't regret it.

Do NOT buy, if you don't have a mid-high end PC (which goes for many games coming out now so its not really a "con") and you do not own, and are not willing to purchase a gaming controller. Simple as that.

Still an amazing game with great new features hence the 8.5 score. Not perfect, because in truth, developers should've done a better job of releasing the game. I repeat, yes I would be pissed if I wasn't aware of any of these tiny little issues, but now you're educated. Enjoy!

post edit: I love how anyone who rates this game about a 3.0 is getting thumbs down. People are such babies and want everything spoon fed. Seriously, if you have a controller and a patch that takes 15 seconds to install its runs perfectly fine. 30fps issue isn't that serious. I wanted a ps3 experience on my PC and thats exactly what I got and I'm perfectly happy.
