As a few have said, it is From's first PC game, so we'll see how it goes. I won't pre-order it because I want to know how it'll truly run first.
This has been my plan from the beginning. Unless I find a really good sale, I'm waiting to see if the game runs remotely well before I invest $40 in it.

The director was apologetic for what they're going to release.
In all fairness, he also apologized about the console version because it wasn't absolutely perfect.
Also, this won't be From's first PC port. Ninja Blade was.

Gamefaqs mods are fair and knowledgable. Failure to accept this fact will result in immediate suspension with no review.

I just looked it up. Apparently ND Games, a Russian publisher, were the ones responsible for porting Ninja Blade.

Greenman gaming has a 20% off coupon so I snagged it for 32. I forget what it is but if you google it it should pop right up.

"Nerd" and "gamer" have become the ultimate consumerist identity. Completely devoid of values outside of consumption without reflection.

I hope beyond belief that the game runs perfectly on everyone's systems except the OP's.

linkkhalid89 posted...I don't take issue with that. I just worry that good sales would indicate to From that they can continue making lazy ports.
You're lucky to get a port period. The only reason there even is one is because people whined and moaned and petitioned for it. From decided they'd do it and people still complain non-stop.
You get extra content that PS3/360 users will have to wait for. From are not a PC developer, like most JP devs they focus on console. You should be thankful the PC crowd is getting it period. Perhaps if it does well enough they will listen to the legit criticism and make the next PC Souls game even better.
Considering people haven't even tried it yet the amount of whining is hilarious. No there probably won't be as many graphical options as us PC users are used to but the fact the company cared enough to listen to the petition is good enough for me. Enjoy the game for what it is, because it's a beautifully crafted gem that is basically a joy to play. That is something hard to find in this current gen of video gaming.
Oh and thanks Gio. I was going to wait until closer to release to pre-order on Steam but GMG is a good service and that code just saved me 10 bucks. If I could rep you on these forums I would =D.
