Unable to change key bindings. Any ideas?

I've just bought this game through steam, and i'm unable to change the key bindings. It says to type any key, but then is unresponsive to anything i press, except the right click which exits key binding. Ive reinstalled and verified game cache, as well as messed with resolutions. Any ideas?
