If this game is dumbed down or casualized in any way, I hope it's in a way so that I can play with a group of friends.

I hated finding friends in Dark Souls.

If anything, I hope they give us the option of regional servers. I liked the PvP elements of the first one, but the netcode really sucked for fighting people in different countries. Getting murdered from laggy backstabs has probably killed me more than Sen's Fortress and Tomb of Giants combined. My favorite is when someone lagstabs you, and you get up... roll a good 15-20 feet away... and teleport back to them backstabbing you.

The less Europeans and Australians in my game (or games that I invade), the better.

You said it, brother. It's a major headache for me & the two people I play with are in the same state. Hell, my brother lives 5 miles up the road & it still takes awhile for his sign to pop.

My roomate, who is 5 feet away from me, still takes forever for their sign to appear at times. I remember when we first started the DLC in DkS we spent literally 2 hours waiting for our signs to show up for each other, meanwhile we kept getting summoned by other people left and right.
