It's quite something that something like a game, can be scary.
But's it's certainly no news.

Dark Seed is a game where you play a man who just moved in this big, unhygienic house, gets a nightmare about a machine cutting his head open and ''inserting'' something in his brain, and discovers it wasn't really a dream, but he has an alien embryo growing in his head that will bring disaster to the world when it.....uhm...eh......mm....hatches..

The story alone makes you go wtf, but not only the story, but also the clips that go along with it.
They're not exactly movie clips, but still-frame (impressive) artwork with often just one movement or the frame just slowly changing into another one.
It sounds bad, but it's really great, and next to that, the graphics in the gameplay itself are great too, as for the music which really puts the mood; going from the peacefull unknowing little town, to the secret alien hideout.

There is so much to see in this game, but you won't be taken lightly if you hang around for hours.
The game wants you to get to it's point and don't walk off to the town's shops too often, because there is a hidden timer in the game.
Meaning you need to be fast about getting rid of the aliens at the other side, or else you won't get the antidote sent to kill the alien in your head and you'll get a nasty surprise popping out of your mouth...seriously, you don't want to see that scene, plus it means ''game over''.

The game itself is in ''storybook'' mode.
For people who don't know what that is, it's the point-and-click controlling, very easy to do.

I'm...not sure if I should recommend this..
It's a masterpiece with alot of efforts put in it, but it's also fnukken scary and it doesn't really give you the oppurtunity to explore, or else it's game over.
Of course you won't get everything right right away, so you will be screwed anyway the first time.
Well, try it, but don't blame anyone when you're traumised, hahahah92^#67y4r%hHs5a!
