While late to the party, this game shows some pretty good zazz.

Where to begin.. Dark Sector was first announced in 2004 (hell, I still have the copy of EGM that had the first sightings of the game). It was announced to be the "first" "Nest-Gen" game. Delays ensued, and the game showed up pretty late to the party. But don't let this bother you. The game went through many classifications, but it held a great spot under the third person shooter genre. The action is great, the story is somewhat solid (although, much like Army of Two, you can blatantly tell that some story elements were cropped out). Hayden's character never gets perfectly revealed, but don't let this stop you if you're into deep character descriptions. However, there aren't very many characters in the game that get deep descriptions either. The characters are a pure mystery, but it won't prevent you from getting into this game. This is one of those games that relies purely on action and not much more. And if you're the type that looks for nothing but action, you can't look much farther than Dark Sector. And for the price tag of only $9.99 brand new at GameStop, this is a game that should not be missed.
