The game that comes readily to mind in terms of comparison is Shadow Complex (which, in turn, seems to have inherited its free-aim from the old DOS title Abuse)... and that's a good thing. One concern about what we're seeing in the crafting system is that the basic ammunition for assault rifles does NOT come in 25mm (1:19) - that caliber would be more in tune with a mated launcher.
