Short fun but easily forgotten after playing.

I had fun playing this game. But I'm the sort of person that really doesn't mind at all to read a lot of text that may not necessarily have anything to do with the puzzles. The sort of text that is -in form of books, letters, notes etc.- there just to flesh out the world. If you absolutely hate that then be cautious of this game. I'm also the sort of person that is just thrilled when I have to draw my own notes. Page after page of clues and scribblings... But again, most people probably hate that, so you should be aware that there is no in-game journal and majority of the things you pick up you don't get to keep, so notes are vital.

Most of the puzzles were challenging but logical (with maybe one or two exceptions) and perfectly solvable with given clues. The "try till you get it right" was really at minimum. One puzzle though was very much the guessing kind and to top it of the control scheme for it was absolutely awkward. I thought that I needed a second item because it wasn't really too apparent that you could do something with the one alone that you got there already. Not even after finally giving up and checking the solution from a walkthrough. But other than that there wasn't much pixel hunting, which is nice.

The atmosphere in the game was spooky in my opinion. I'm a scaredy-cat though so this kind of game is about the maximum level of horror and suspension I can take...

Ending was a disappointment. The game just sorta faded away. With a proper ending and some more lenght this game might have been more memorable. Short duration of the game did make sure that I didn't get too bored running around the same small station hotel though.
