Brian talks to Jonathan Knight about the Lust level from Dante's Inferno at TGS 2009.
"Nel mezzo del cammin di nostra vita mi ritrovai per una selva oscura, che la diritta via era smarrita, ahi quanto a dir qual'era è cosa dura esta selva selvaggia e aspra e forte, che nel pensier rinnova la paura." I wish this will be great! Wish they will do a good job with localisation and choose good actors for the Italian version of the game. What if someone will try to make a videogame out of the "Rhyme of the ancient mariner" ???
Wow God of War copy
nice
Anyone else think this guy looks like Kane from the Comand and Conquer Tiberium wars series?
Kinda like a cross between god of war-ninja gaiden
Its god of war..... but perfected.
Extreme violence, horror, souls tortured in hell? - No Problem! Nipples? - Bad for children! :P
Yeah, the gameplay kind of reminds God of War, but I have no complains about that. This game is going be awesome.
This game is going to be awesome...though I do have to say that the trailers sort of remind me of God of War. Except they took it to another level. It looks amazing!
PSP but not PC? lame ...
I've got to find a copy of the Divine Comedy! This story is awesome!
this game is looking to be pretty epic
So what if this looks similar to god of war? whats bad about that? I don't own a PS3 so this will have to do. I really hope this game is good.
the reason it looks like GOW is because they got one of the main guys that worked on GOW to work on this game
I said this before...I hope it will be like GOW in gameplay and that at least in USA the content dont get the softening, cause I like the weirdness and twisted world they are creating now. I'll get this one before GOW get out
Very God of War like but a cool game idea.
Hmmm looks like God of War to me....
Well Muffin_Monster2, I am reading the Divine Comedy right now and the line I mentioned below is indeed the first line of the comedy in my version of the book. (The translation by John Ciardi, which is the best translation out there in most peoples opinion, like T.S. Eliot.) Though I can understand that its possible that every book has different sentences, due to other translations.
This is serious,a great superb awesome game..Dante´s Inferno
Funny a game that will find most of its audience in book readers and that will probably spawn many hours of reading the divine comedy.
This games' maturity is definitely eye-opening. I'm definitely looking foward to seeing how the devs will depict something that has spun it's own twists throughout time. Looking great! My condolences to those regions who will suffer to regulations and "softening" of the game. *thumbs down* With an MA rating, restrictions should only apply to those purchasing, not the creativity of the devs.
looking forward for more of this game
the game looks good..........
@Muffin_Monster2 Not wishing to sound pedantic but the Inferno has been translated from 14th Century Italian many times in many different ways. My copy starts "Halfway on the path our life is/ I found was in a dark woods;/ for I had lost my direction" for example. There is no one translated opening line that should be considered any more right than another and is probably merely down to semantic preference by the translator (or reader).
the audio isn't synced. looking good!
Custerke that isnt the first line of the poem btw it is Midway upon the journey of our life I found myself within a forest dark which i am pretty sure what the guy said idk i wasnt rly paying attention but ya
Did anyone notice the audio wasn't synced with the video, great game not sure if it interests me enough though.
this game is going to be insane. i so can't wait for this game...
Actually the first line of the poem is: "Midway in our life's journey, I went astray from the straight path and woke to find myself in a dark forest." Hope they've put it in the game correctly.
I was a bit sceptic about this game at first but every movie, interview and article about the game makes me want this game more and more!
@Normaral85 I wasn't talking about Gamespot I was talking about this game. This game is very obviously aimed at adults and as adults we are capable of self censorship. We do not need to be nannied.
This will be great!
Thats so cool. Must buy for me. ;)
Also, I never even thought of censorship before. Thanks for reminding me that Australia is going to have this game butchered. >(
@Normaral85 Well, they shouldn't.
@ eastwoodmaniac Nope, children play game and come to gamespot as well.
I saw nipples This game is becoming more appealing to me (not by means of the nipples) with the action and story
So we can see babies with swords for arms and blood and guts but as soon as the nipples come out it's all bring on the censors? I know that the average gamer has never seen nipples other than their own but come on, are we not all adults here?
this game is shaping up so well hope its awesome
I can't wait for this game, it's gonna be awesome.
