Too much flash, too little game. Pad sucks.
The awesome pad is, of course, incompatible with the XBox 360 (-1). The pad that came with the game did not work. The left and up arrows failed more often than they worked. (-2)
When trying to play, the arrows are tiny, much smaller than the other games, and even the arcade, apparently because what I really got the game for was not to dance, but to watch the flashing psychedelic movie displays that do little more than make it even harder to see the tiny arrows. (-3) (As I write, my wife has discovered how to turn that display off - it's not in the manual)
At first, the game insisted that since we did not have a gamertag profile set up, it would not save anything. Repeated power cycling convinced the thing to see it my way, however (-4).
Avatar is pretty cool (+1), the dance challenges seem better than previous ones (+2).
