DDRE 2 is a great DDR game, though it is not was I was expecting. That, however, does not mean you should not get this game. If you are not a fan of the series, then turn your eyes and ears for the following text may burn your flesh(foul demons, cough, cough). DDRE 2 has some awesome new songs, including some new mixes of some old favorites and original versions of songs that have mixed multiple times throughout the series(Paranoia, the original!)My favorite is the Japanese(maybe) Rock/Rap hybrid song, Daikenkai. Its blazing fast BPM and challenging steps will haunt you until you perfect them and its catchy tune will be jammed in your head for a while. Its transformed mission mode, now entitled Dance Master Mode, is the only way to unlock new songs, but wait, there's more to grief over! After you unlock them, you have to buy them from a shop, using points that you earn in many different modes. The DMM(Dance Master Mode) is fairly challenging and will have you moving your feet(or thumbs for you controller users) at blazing fast speeds and your eyes will ache trying to keep up with all the arrows. Of course, this is only in Section D. Perhaps the most disappointing thing about the entire game is the characters. I absolutely hate them. They look blocky and ugly, and are entirely stupid. They can rot in Hell with Burger King. So until I find another game that I own and I feel like criticizing, Fare Thee Well!
