I first wondered if this game was gonna be good. With its competors such as inFAMOUS and some other games released on the same day it wasnt going to be a walk in the park for Damnation. But Now Ive played it. It is a well worth wait.

You play as Rourke, a nifty veteran of the great war who has picked up alot of skills on the way. Wearing his iconic cowboy hat you battle through the strange Steampunk setting of the early 20th century. Sure it sounds confusing, but its a storyline thats intresting and sucks you in.

Rourke is a clash of Max Payne, Marcus Fenix and Altair bundled into one gun slinging cowboy but it works well. Not only can you run up walls, hang off ledges, and maneouver your self up giant vertical maps you can pull off some insane tricks with your weapons and some crazy dare devil stunts.

The multiplayer is good, but needs a few finishing touches but the split screen is great. Me and my friend had tons of fun hours just climbing things. Even though its not an open world shooter, you can explore each mission to a limitation and too a certain extent the levels are pretty big.

The game is a must have for all Steampunk fans and fans of shoot 'em ups with a twist of Assassins Creed (with guns). However, this game just wouldnt go down well with certain gamers.
