Worms Forts: Under Siege! puts you in command of a team of up to four fort-dwelling worms. The game is set in the cartoon environments, and you direct your worm garrison to quickly construct defenses to maximize your strategic advantage, you direct the worms to expand your castle to seize valuable resources, and you have them build weapons of mass destruction to destroy your opponents' fortifications.

Some aspects of the game could have used some more polish, but these shouldn't deter anyone who's looking for a deep, involved, great-looking, and memorable RPG from getting Gladius.

It's an intriguing experiment that ultimately suffers from shallow, simplistic gameplay and an uninvolving story mode rife with bland characters.

The sequel to UFO: Aftermath takes place years later where the survivors on Earth face a failing life-support system and no signs of the aliens that had taken over originally.
