Story
Sucks. You're some kid who's dad died but told you to become a great commander when you grow up. You join Steal Hearts with a cross dresser, Steve Austin's brother, and a chick who outright offers to screw. Along the way you'll meet Dennis Rodman..........I mean Harry's fugly sister, some hot scientist, some hot clerk at a training gym, some hot clerk at a testing hall, azn's, Team Rocket ripoffs, AND MANY MORE! Plenty of comedy compensates for the terrible storylines they input.
Gameplay
Damn good! Mainly when you start off a match, you have to customize your robo using a body, gun, pod, bomb, and feet. The best combination doesn't however give you victory. You must utilize what you've equipped to your advantage so that you can come out on top. You'll get your ass kicked quite a bit before you become teh 1337 on them asses but the game doesn't allow you to get pwned so easly. Battles start off with a cannon shooting out 2-4 pokeballs....er robo cubes that have count downs. Whoever gets unleashed first gets to deal damage first. This is a major complaint by many players (wimps) because it is "unbalanced". Give me break. You can release yourself faster than the latter by button mashing the hell out of those buttons! Then everything is up to you. The arena's are quite various as many have gimmicks for better challenges. But knowing if pro players got into this, they'd ban them for "unfair positional bs" and play on "No man's land" for days on end (sorry got out of a terrible smash club where retardation is infinite with Final Destination match # over 9000). Anywho some matches can get a LITTLE repetitive but the game modes do their job to prevent that. What DOES suck is that most of the best features REQUIRE you do 1 player mode (seriously, TRUE multiplayer can't even be played without doing it. No CPU's enabled untill you finish story mode wtf.....no arcade mode either.....on top of that you have to finish a SECONDARY STORY MODE to get ALL THE GEAR!!!! GOD HAVE MERCY I haven't seen anything THIS ambitious since Sonic Adventure 2's crappy req. for a single stage that sucks.)
Well it's all worth it at the end (and my ass was kicked so hard because of those stupid rules.) Anywho GET THIS GAME LIKE NOW MORON!
