Cubivore, where do I begin? You're a little animal made out of squares in a world made of squares eating other animals made of squares to eventually make little square animal babies. It's somehow even weirder than even that. The surrealistic nature of the game is engaging, and the localization alone makes it worth playing.

Graphics -- The cubist presentation is found throughout the game world. All the textures and shapes are kept VERY simple, but it does create a unique and creative world. It's the little touches like the square-shaped droplets of blood that really stand out.

Sound -- Almost no music, mostly atmospheric environment sounds. Your cubivore's roars, the other various creature squeaks, and footsteps make up the rest of the minimal soundtrack.

Gameplay -- As the Cubivore, you hop over to and bite other Cubivore creatures of varying sizes. Each square you pull off of another animal gives you health and color, and boss creatures provide ability upgrades such as a sprint move. The controls are kind of stiff, and some of the Cubivore shapes are super awkward, but overall it becomes natural and fun as the game progresses.

Overall -- If you're like me, you live for games like this. The quirky nature of this game is more than enough to warrant a purchase. It is by far not the best made game, but you're not gonna play anything else like this anytime soon. Plus, one of the things you upgrade is "Hump Points". Enough said.
