Strangely good game

This game's one of the strangest around. What you need to do is go through a level (linear open world), defeat enemies, eat stuff and evolve. At the end of a level, you go to a special place to find another cubivore (or two...) to mate. What happens after, you have kids, and you get to choose which one you want to play on the next level. I have to admit the first time I played this game it felt almost weird to me this whole mating thing, but after the second level you get to see your kids evolve and see what this game's all about, evolution.
Good points about this game is the originality of it, it's fun to play, controls are good, and in this game's case: weird is good (for me anyways).
Bad points are the graphics of the game: very obvious that this game was meant to be on the Nintendo 64. Other thing is the weirdness of it (which is also a good point). It's definitely not a mainstream game (not everyone's cup of tea).
My rating for this game : 8 out of 10. Should be 7 to 7.5, but it's get an 8 in my books just because of the uniqueness of this game, as it's completely different than almost anything else. If the graphics where better (if Atlus would have redone this game completely to better suit the gamecube), it could probably fetch 8.5 in average ratings. Definitely a keeper for collectors, as this games value is more than what it was sold for originally.
