How do you beat himn? Guide says thunder sword level 3 but it doesn't do anything?

Use Telepathy to talk to the Wise Men before the fight. They'll tell you that you need the Thunder Sword and Power Bracelet equipped. You must be at level 16 as well.

You don't need to use Level 3, but the Thunder Sword is the only sword powerful enough to hit the boss.

Remember, aim for the weak point! (Or else all you hear is DINGDINGDING of your attacks bouncing off.)

As I recall (it's been a few years since I last played), you also have to be at level 16 (max level) to hurt him.
