Crystal Quest might pale next to Geo Wars and Mutant Storm, but it nonetheless holds up as a good, almost solid shooter. Graphically this game is pleasant, though somewhat plain on the eyes, and the sounds are nothing special, but do their job amicably.

Crystal Quest's gameplay is also pretty good, but it doesn’t jump out at you in the same way that those aforementioned are able. Overall, this is a game worth checking out, especially if you have already completed some of the better Xbox Live Arcade games out there. And at 400 Microsoft Points, this is an easy buy.
