I'm a programmer and I realize what an incredible feat it is to put this on a console.

Wow. That's about all I can say.

This game is better than I thought was possible on a console.

Yes, there are some graphical glitches, but you can shoot down trees, destroy buildings, pick up and throw the wildlife, etc. It is just ridiculous.

I'm an amateur programmer, and I tip my hat to Crytek for being able to put such an incredibly demanding game on the xbox 360. Simply incredible.

You know what's really funny? If Microsoft had just built the xbox 360 with 2gb of RAM instead of the .5 GB it has, it would have been a ton easier to put Crysis on it. Memory and the massive size of the maps was the main problem.

I can't blame Microsoft though. It was five years ago that they designed it after all. And of course they take a $500 loss on every console sold (it costs nearly $800 to build an Xbox 360, they make their profit on games and Xbox Live).

    Despite the lack of multiplayer, CRYSIS definitely is a classic and masterpiece!

    It's a bit disappointing that CRYSIS 2 hit the PS3 and Xbox 360 before CRYSIS did. Kids who are playing COD games and preparing to buy Battlefield 3 missed out on the gem that is CRYSIS when it was originally released.... Read Full Review
