Want to see which version of Crysis 3 has the best rain drops? We do a graphics comparison video with PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game!
They had a tough choice? Was it the tough choice of further p!ssing all over the original game and expansion pack that were actually good, not to mention the characters they seemed to leave out of Cysis 2?? I still don't understand why they had to suddenly 're-invent' the Ceph into Halo style gimpy walkers rather than the Octupus style aliens from the first game. I also don't understand what the f*k happened to the story line from the first two games... Set up to be something amazing, yet the result was a giant sandwich... The funny thing is I'll probably still buy this game, just to see if they actually manage to redeem themselves... Though I'm fairly sure, as with Crysis 2, I'll be massively dissapointed and want to nail puppies to the wall...time will tell
what's this? another game from craptek? first crysis wasn't very well optimized for PC even if u had good rig, 2nd crysis sucked big time mostly because it was just another console port, really annoying for the checkpoints with no save/load game option. After applying the graphics patch u weren't able to load any previous saved checkpoint, u had to play it all the way until the end. Craptek response to this issue was that they are happy with how the game is after the patch. Yes craptek we haven't forgot!
@circus2050 You're kidding right? The original Crysis was one of the greatest examples of a game being optimized for the PC. That's one of the many reasons why it was a PC exclusive, along with the fact that the consoles at that time were nowhere close to being able to run it even on low FX settings. Along with The Witcher 2 and BF3, Crysis is the best looking game (after how many years? and still on dx9?) on the PC! If you have or had a proper gaming rig, Crysis was and still is beautiful and wonderfully fun to play. I just hope Crysis 3 isn't simply ported from console to PC, but rather optimized for the PC and then "dumbed down" so to speak, for the consoles. This is why we need next-gen, because the PC is light years ahead of the current generation of consoles and; therefore, they (ps3 and xbox 360) are bringing the potential of cross-platform games down considerably concerning PC optimization. Since cross-platform seems to be the only way devs are making money these days, we must have next-gen ASAP. IMHO.
To be fair, Crysis did have problems with the graphics. I couldn't play it with extreme graphics without very noticable lag, but Warhead and Crysis 2 ran very smoothly on full graphics. Still, that stop Crysis from being an epic and amazing experience, and circus2050 is still a whiney pinhead.
Very excited about this game, as always it's going to have the best graphics of the year, but Q2 2013? I guess many games will be close to Crysis 3 by the time it gets released in more than a year... positive point is we have plenty of time to upgrade our PC.
I hate how Crysis 2 didn't continue the story from Crysis 1 at all. Nomad, Psycho, the Ceph inside the island.... heck, even Prophet's story wasn't expanded on in the original - that's a whole game or expansions worth of content right there I don't like how Nomad's story became redundant.
@lubhoo That still leaves so many freaking questions unanswered though. Also, nowhere can I find the actual comics so that I might not just get a rundown of their content.
@jamesbigmac@lubhooI don't think that's important. What's important is that Hargreave used Prophet and his team in Crysis 1 to test the nanosuits against the Ceph. Now Prophet is pissed and wants revenge.
@jamesbigmac Crysis ends by destroying this really big alien and then Nomad rides off the giant ship in a other ship. Sorry don't really know names, not a huge ending though.
