stealth,stealth,stealth.......let see more chaos and combat this is a FPS.i know that stealth is useful for quick escape and strategy, but i think it more focused on stealth.i really really.... love stealth especially in 3rd person(assassin creed, metal gear even uncharted).but too much stealth in FPS kind of reduces the pace of the game.

three words if you see this and have any common sense do not under any circumstance get this game it is the worst mmo I have ever played the personnel story system is way way to hard the they event system is plain boring the pvp system is a rip off they lied so much on this game it's horrible I can't figure out how they ratings on this sight are still so high up if you are going to spend your money on a game get any other game just stay way from this one it gets old so fast it unbleavible
I luv uber bunny hopping and full clips to kill. This game has it all. This game is every bit of $70 or more keep up the work EA. Let me bend over little further does that help.
Another Franchise dictated by EA. "Make another one relatively quickly, you have all the textures from the last game, use them, forget about the story sure we didn't even continue from Crysis 1 in the last game. Oh and put in a bow, it worked for BF3."
@couly You're a tool... Crysis 3 textures and graphics have nothing to do with Crysis 2 at all, Crysis's 2 story wasn't that bad, and btw BF3 is not the only game with a bow... give up BF3 for a while you might see other games laying around like hmmm Far Cry 3? or hmmm AC3?
@couly Crysis 3 has entirely new textures, it continues the story from Crysis 2 which if you actually played it continues the story from Crysis 1. Crysis 3 is a lot more open than Crysis 2 and there are significant improvements.
@couly @Rambolike @Brean24 are you kidding me? What halo game are you referring to. The story line of all the games flows as it should and also complies with the books.
Huh?
First of all, Halo has had plenty of proper sequels. Furthermore, Crysis 3 looks like a nice upgrade in nearly every way--a proper sequel.
@Rambolike @Brean24 @couly yes it is an insult to the developers because I am insulting them. I wanted a proper sequel. You don't think they pulled a Halo on us?
@ZakMcKracken The recoil has been adjusted since release, but you are mistaken; Before Call of Duty, Counter-Strike set the standard for unforgiving recoil. Now Call of Duty has essentially set the standard for barely any recoil. In CS, the second shot from the AK is literally halfway up the screen from the first.
Lol, it definitely sounds like wherever they recorded this could have used a larger mousepad!
PC version looks astonishing.
Console versions - not so much, at all...............
Tried demo on xbox and ps3, and was disappointed with visuals. Halo 4 looks so much better, while Crysis 3 and BF3 obviously look like 75% of PC version visuals are missing.
But won't get in on PC, because Origin seriously sucks. Steam FTW.
@Atermi Multiplayer hardly ever looks as good as the single player portion of the game. I thought the same thing about crysis 2 multi-beta and then the actual game is about as good as any game has and will ever look on 360. Halo 4 is just smoke and mirrors for dummies to think the game looks really good. Crysis is way better. If they put anymore lens flare effects in halo 4 you wouldnt even be able to see the damn game. Thats how they shined up mass effect 3 by adding 30%% more lens flares which always tricks people into thinking the game actually looks better. The thing with halo 4 compared to reach is the levels are like half or less the size of reaches levels and thats probably the reason 4 has a little more detail. Ill take bungies levels and graphics over 343's any day though. Lastly, of course pc is much better i dont think anyone would argue that
i would like to see the settings they're playing with and, of course, the rig they're using to move this game...
This is terrible, at first I thought "Huh, it seems like they understand things about game design", but when I heard them say that there might be "1000 different ways" I knew that they were forced to do that. In the first two minutes you can see how terrible this game is, not only is there a cutscene, but during that 'makes it seem far cooler than it actually is'-cutscene you kill a man in cold blood, that guy could have had a family, judging by age he probably also had parents, he'll be missed. In crysis you could at least go non-lethal, but in this you simply murder left and right. If I want to kill people at random then I'll just play CoD or Postal, not crysis.
Also, is this normal (veteran as they call it) difficulty? Is it normal to stand and be shot for 3 seconds at point blank without dying? Hell, the only time they died was when they rushed like retards without thinking for a second. The detection AI is terrible and far too easy, if something explodes and two guys die, you don't go "Huh? What was that noice?", you go "SOMEONE! WE'VE GOT HOSTILES!!". The battery-life is also far to long, you could spring around invisible for seconds, you shouldn't be able to.
Whoever decided to to have Crysis 2 set in New York should be castrated! They totally ruined everything that was good about Crysis 1 with the terrible, generic, bland, boring joke that was Crysis 2. I WILL NOT BE BUYING THIS GENERIC SHIT!!!!!
If I want play COD, I buy a COD game!!!! This game is not Crysis3 this is Call of Duty:Alien Warfare.
I know that the real sequel to the first Crysis will only be released in the next-gen consoles, just dont call this game Crysis3 because it's not!
Instead of criticizing the video, I'm going to reserve my judgement 'til after I've played the damn thing! Sounds fair?
I loved playing with the various suit and upgrade options in Crysis 2. The game was GORGEOUS, and the combat was extremely engaging. But ultimately I was completely uninterested in the characters, the story, and even the environment. (I'm getting tired of constantly running through pseudo-NYC in all these games...) So I never finished the game -- it was just too boring, even despite the wonderful engine.
@Pyrosa Crysis2 had pretty visuals, nothing else.
The gameplay was dumbed down, the story and characters were crap like you said and dont forget the red aliens...(how did the cool blue Aliens turned those ugly red rastafarian guys I will never understand, the guy who decided that should be fired... from a cannon!)
A joke. This game was created to be cross platform. Well the consoles bog it down. Keep in mind this is coming from a CONSOLE gamer as well. Crysis 1 original for the pc was the best Crysis mainly cause it was very open ended. I'm not expecting much from this Crysis. C2 was a disappointment with it's linear level paths. "Hundreds of ways?" No. Just no. Yeah, if you mean at one point the wind might be blowing a different direction or something. But practically there are always just a few ways. Under ten. They are just trying to give us a decent reason to buy it.
The problem is when we see all this and listen to what they say as we have in the past, we the consumer, have realized that the majority of what they say are really reaching. Stretching their point with technicalities etc. So are you going to tell me that there are HUNDREDS of different guns? Or even stretch THAT by saying they all have different and unique functions? Oh but the suit. Yes.... well...the thing is. Stealth, or gung ho. That's pretty much it as far as practicality goes. You snipe. You get in close with a shotgun or AR. That is where it ends.
The most creative I've ever been with a first person game was Skyrim and that was confusing guys into fighting each other and then raising the loser as a zombie. That was about as far as I could put it. Other than that though it was just the standard variation. Mage, Thief, or Warrior.
So don't try and pull this "hundreds of ways to go through a level" crap. We aren't idiots.
@sharpshooter188 consoles don't bog it down...it is the "making a game for the masses" that bogs it down.
@sharpshooter188 100% accurate -- stealth or gung-ho are exactly the two options you have.
Graphically the game looks great BUT gameplay seems generic and story is lame like a cheap sci-fi movie
Yet again, you talk rapidly through the duration of the video when what we want to see is the gameplay sans commentary.
Im gonna try this for sure, those COD and BF singleplayers were so boring to me. If this bring me a little bit more ill be satisfied
Looks great :)! Seems like you have a lot of variety in terms of gadgets, weapons, suit powers and level layout. Enemies don't look too bright, but I'm expecting a tougher fight when the aliens enter the action.
