This is the Crysis 3 stage demo from E3 2012.
Is that turok????
its getting ridicilus...
why arent they build a gamestory matched with this wonderfull graphics?
I was hoping they were trying to get back to the style of gameplay from Crysis 1 but it looks identical to Crysis 2 to me :(
Crysis was awesome.. Crysis 2 was not bad.. lets see what they do with this..
On a plus note Cryengine 3 is awesome :)
some of u people bullshitting how crytek moved from PC exclusive to multi-platform...it was because of overrated piracy......nd some of u even donload it after giving loads of crappy words here abt the crytek's origin being PC exclusive only...
loved crysis, loved crysis warhead, crysis 2 still rules and the 3rd one is gonna be kickass!!!!!!!!! cant wait!!!!!!!!
Another consolized COD style gameplay....sigh. What has happened to you Crytek you made awesome open world games with stunning revolutionary graphics like Far Cry, Crysis 1 and Crysis Warhead. This is another boring ass Crysis 2...
@Arsyad00 its the developer mode u ass.....that do it like that so that they can show the gameplay without interruptions...
its do what you want enviorments.....(but only in un scripted areas) and that looks like it takes up 90% of the game. would have been easyer to tell what wasnt scripted if the dude had the balls to do the demo out of god mode.
Lol, lately I've been thinking that games are becoming somewhat boring, similar & repetitive. And I thought maybe they're actually not, maybe I'm getting older - too old for games to appreciate them. But then I read most of the comments on GameSpot & realized that they are indeed getting boring & similar. And you know why? What's the difference between now & 8-10 years ago? The answer is simple: Too FU&^ING long single title series. 4 Assassin's Creed games; 8 Call of Duty games; 5 Halo games... etc. There was a time when games were always fresh because the longest title series averaged on 3 games.
@Shengy89 and the game play style , in the past we used to get different game plays, like red alert , age of empires , populous , the first medal of honor
Doesn't look very impressive. This looks exactly like Crysis 2 to me. The pretty drastic change between Crysis and its sequel isn't as apparent here in Crysis 3.
I don't really get the big deal with the bow, sure its a cool new weapon but if a bow and better graphics and a different landscape is what makes this game different from crysis 2, I don't see any reason to go nuts about it. Still, it is very early and Im sure crytech will add much more to the game.
Yea, I gotta say, as a PC gamer who has been following Crytek since they first released the Far Cry demo.....they have lost me as a customer.
@darkasylum Why do PC gamers have a sense of entitlement towards having every game built for them primarily? Why can't you appreciate both consoles AND PC? Does it really have to be mutually exclusive?
@Raphy_Turtle Because we have money to buy advance hardware? Really I'm not going to get into this argument because most likely your rebuttal is going to be how expensive PC gaming is and that is just false if you know how to build and shop around for the best deals.
@darkasylumThe only reason I ever argued with you was because you said ''this game has console written all over it'' and then went about in a typical PC vs console debate. Which regardless of opinion, is a childish debate. I was simply pointing this out.I won't disregard any of what you said because, in respective order:Hardware limitions, again with the console vs PC debate I want no part into. But since you used the rhetoric, ''I'm not going to get into this argument'' and got into anyway since you really wanted to; The choice Crytec made (however much I didn't like it much) still had nothing to do with consoles! If they wanted to make an open world, well they could do that on consoles too.The money comment you misunderstood me. I said I don't care what you do with your money and you shouldn't car what I do with mine. I figured continuing your comment about how ''I'' chose to spend mine, you would have figured that out.Again, yes you can say what you want, but then I can also tell you from my neutral perspective that you sound ridiculous when getting into such debates. Especially when since the start I've been neutral about the whole argument since I don't attack consoles, or PCs or games...but instead you had to criticize even more as if I actually was your opposite. Which I'm not but you do not seem to have figured yet.I dunno what you are, but clearly there's frustration and you're taking it out on the wrong things. But fine, keep bashing on consoles and best selling games, see how fast the world changes... By denominator I mean crysis 1 was on pc only, 2 was on pc AND xbox, hence being the difference which you point out as being to blame for the game's shortcomings.Again I don't care about the PC debate. I'm arguing about how dumb it is to argue this...paradoxical I guess.Anyway, now that HOPEFULLY, I've made it clear I'm not trying to defend or attack either, that I'm discrediting arguing only, maybe we can stop this nonsense and both enjoy our respective videogaming preferences. =)CHEERS
@grf7291 Not mad, I just like to argue. Everyone's entitled to their opinions right? Right?!
@Raphy_Turtle Okay let me break down your last response so you can't dismiss the points I make:
"Blame the game's producers not the system it happens to play on. It's not consoles who told Crytec to make the game less open world..." - I agree, they are just as equally guilty too but you can't also disregard hardware limitations as well. Tell me why did Crytek move away from a winning formula of an open world sandbox to a closed, almost rail like shooter? It has to be more than just a marketing move...
"And personally I don't care what you choose to spend your money on, and neither should you" - What? I should care because it's my money.
"Again going back to my original point of don't judge other's playing choice and others don't give a shite what you like" - Good. I don't care either I'm just making my opinions heard on a public game forum. Tell me do like flaming people who have different opinions than you? I'm sure in a past life you were fine SS Officer.
"You're just bitter and angry and you choose to blame the denominator that wasn't there when you liked this game, ie the console." - *Rolls Eyes* Yeah, sure I go out into the streets and playgrounds and scream at children saying it's their fault and what the hell are you talking about denominator? The Xbox360 was out for good 1-2 years before Crysis released for PC in 2007.
"For focks sake let it go. We really don't care." - Well if you didn't care you wouldn't be fighting me on this, you would have just let it go and let people have their own opinions. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that feels this way as I'm sure they're others that feel the same as you.
@darkasylum why u mad, bro?
@darkasylum Blame the game's producers not the system it happens to play on. It's not consoles who told Crytec to make the game less open world... And personally I don't care what you choose to spend your money on, and neither should you. Again going back to my original point of don't judge other's playing choice and others don't give a shite what you like. You're just bitter and angry and you choose to blame the denominator that wasn't there when you liked this game, ie the console. For focks sake let it go. We really don't care.
@Raphy_Turtle I'm only prejudice when consoles handicap great games that started life on PC and force it to degenerate into...this. You have and Xbox and PS3 for exclusives? Good for you. Personally I prefer to save my money and shelf space for something else than a few electronics I'm only going to use a few times out of the year.
@darkasylum Buddy, unlike you apparently, I don't discriminate people's choice of gaming. In fact, I spend money on advanced hardware for PC once in a while to play games on PC only, I own an Xbox and enjoy its console games, and I even have a PS3 for its exclusives...I spend a fair amount of money on gaming and never complained about it. I simply find it pathetic when people get into arguments over PC or console being better, or we deserve this and that. Its as pathetic as those who get into ''my game is better than yours'' argument. (Call of Duty vs Battlefield for instance). Can't we all just enjoy the games we love and let others be the judge of which device/game/play style they prefer?
@darkasylum It looks pretty cool...just because you don't like it this doesn't mean it isn't a great PC game that PC gamers like me are interested in
@Darnasian Have you played the first one?! You should be insulted and disgusted to what Crytek has done to the series.
@darkasylum It's still more unique than COD imo...also it isn't as milked as COD is so there is still hope if you ask me
@Darnasian Yeah but they essentially just turned it into a Call of Duty clone with a power suit gimmick.
@darkasylum Yeah I playe it and I was astonished by it's gameplay...yeah Crysis 2 wasn't any better...it went backwards...but it was still enjoyable...it's just like Dragon Age...just ebcause it went beackwards it doesn't mean it's not enjoyable
Getting killed by a bow while you're in a helicopter... that's gotta make you feel embarrassed in the afterlife.
All the usual problems with the Crysis series. Things happen in the cutscenes that you can't do as a player, bad voice acting and a complete failure to comprehend how the military actually works.
@Sigsworth Crysis never aimed to comprehend how the military actually works...isn't this even illegal? Since game companies are allowed only to bluff and speculate?
Come on Crytek, stop selling out by making the Crysis franchise a console game. PC is where it belongs.
well if people bought the game for PC then they would still be pc only... shouldn't they be paid for their hard work? plus they are giving away the cryengine3 when they could be selling it for big bucks!
@West123 What do you mean they are giving cryengine3 away? I didn't pay attention to what the guy said or any news but this sounds weird
