A straight downgrade in my opinion.
What the **** happened to the nanosuit? Why does Armor, cloak and nanovision all have independent power sources that last forever and recharge stupid fast? Managing energy, even in Crysis 2, was probably the heart of what made Crysis what it is. It in itself demanded that you thought outside the box and forced you to play in unconventional ways.
Now it's just "Oh yeah dude armor mode ALL THE TIME and cloak when **** hits the fan."
Also, since when did we stop making sprinting, jumping and power melee attacks consume energy? Why? It was fine before.

hm, I operate more on ambush/ shock trooper tactics, using the stealth and never sprinting with it if I can avoid it, kill anyone in an overwatch position then armor on, flashbang down and dropslam, then mop up with my shotgun/pistol combo.

Idk, im enjoying it. Crysis 2s multiplayer pissed me off because of its obscene lag and wonky hit detection. This is only a beta... idk im already having more fun with it. If crytek can buff the worst parts of the beta (okay graphics and sometimes inconsistant framerate) they will have my money in no time

No it doesn't, there's a tooltip that specifically says that it doesn't take energy.
Yeah, it consumes more cloak energy but that's it.

That's what he's saying. Armor lock is like 20% more hit points than without it and if your accuracy is good, you won't have a problem with this.

Just played for about an hour. Finding games easily enough but some off them were quite laggy.
I'm in the UK and I'm mostly connecting to Italian and Spanish players AKA I'm on two bars.

yeah, the energy management in this game is pretty moot. You just walk around cloaked, then when you see an enemy, use armour mode. No real thought to it.
