Crysis 2 Video Review

$10 on steam, $5 for first game. Getting them ^_^

Just started this last night. It has kind of a slow start, but it's actually a very good game.

Playing on PC, the default FOV made me sick.  And it isn't easy to change.

Normaly I ignore all FPS games. This one really got my attention though, and I'm happy it did. 

Highly addictive and without doubt recommended.

I hate the fact that PC version was dumbed down because of of consoles. First Crysis was pure gold and PC power!

I kinda ignored this when it first released. I think I might pick this up now.

even though the story and the environments are nothing like it, the game engine is so much like Killzone that watching this review makes me want to play it. anyone else think so?

i wonder if they will make a 3

Man! When Crytec released the HD Texture pack and when Nvidia released he 270 drivers, I am ready to give this game the 9 that it truly deserves

Very honest review... I loved the game but the AI got really dumb at times..... but still a kick ass game....

@klompa1992 Probably Crysis 2, but RF Armageddon is also a good game.

played this game, it truly is amazing. it reminded me of a cross between call of duty and halo.

I just can't wait to see what they will do with a crysis 3

I think what people need to realise with this review is that the core game play is solid, seriously, it's great. The review is honest without sensationalism which is nice.Go Kevin_V

@Ares360 Far Cry 3, like 2, is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal, not Crytek.

i completely agree with geroy69 this game is way to underrated i luv gamespot and have been a long time member but damm sometimes there just way off like here with am 8,5 sooo sad

The fact that this game only got 8.5 is laughable. Especially when you look at Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter getting a 9.2. I don't care how long ago that game was made. This game is 20 times better even when you compare eras. This game is unreal! At least a 9.5 in my mind.

@ ke- the story mode is not short and its not lengthy either.... itl take u around 13 or 14 hours.......... lots of reviews said that it takes around 10 houres but im almost compltly possitive that they were rushing their way through the game. when i played it on hard it took me 15 hours. multyplayer is lots of fun. get the game its worth the money

So crysis 2 or red faction armageddon???

I'm having some trouble figuring out where to buy this game or not. For single player everyone seem to disagree with each other; some say it's solid and lengthy enough while the other half say you're through it way too fast. Need some more info on the multiplayer part... Saw a comment about unbalanced leveling online, but I'm having that exact problem in CoD Black Ops...

Now I can't wait for FarCry 3 God I love Crytek!

Yeah this is a must have. I just read about the DX11 update and I was so excited about it. I am in my doubts how this will look on X360 versus PC. But damn, I cannot afford a gaming PC worth > 1K T_T I am gonna get this on X360 anyways.

This looks so amazing, and I must buy it soon! But I really wish they woulda shown someone who can actually play well for the MP section. Jeez, he didn't kill anybody lol :P

Can't get the demo to work on my ps3 so ima go for Killzone3.

Best FPS since HL2, One of the best things about it is its pacing unlike most new games like MW2 its not one Michael Bay moment after another.

this game is really addicting. its really sad that this game is really underplayed because of the bugs it has and EA refuses to fix them. this should be up there with COD and Battlefield because while its a FPS, it has a different feel than most do. Overall, love this game and happy i bought it. really recommends this game to everyone. :)

Now with game with this much hype how do developers miss something as easy as A.I.?

Not only does this game look and plays awesomely, it has a lengthy single player campaign which means great value for money. AAA++++++++ GOTY for me so far.

I just bought this yesterday from Target for $39. Wasn't planning on it, just saw the deal and grabbed it. I'm so glad I did. I LOVE this game. I like all the Battlefields and COD's but this offers something totally original. The weapons feel awesome and the upgrade system rocks. Graphically it's one of the best games I have seen on any console and I have owned them all. I recommend this BIG time. At the least, rent it and see for yourself. Consider me a new Crysis fan. Unbelievable.

Hmmm, maybe next time i'll buy it, but not this one - i don't like city shooters which all the same esp. on consoles.

Supersoldier was way too easy, I just used stealth all the way for the three trophies you get by beating levels, the developers could atleast add a small penalty for doing so.
