@fullxtent yepp, of course I didn't really care for either one, but the first Crysis and the second and first Halo were great. I just don't think the second Crysis really does enough.

@SkochTape117 yea just about except you'd have to remove the the slightly better graphics, suit mechanics, destructible environments, wide range of weapon customizations, and the enemy and environment interactions from this. but yea only slightly off, just a bit.
i built a new PC just for crysis 1(worth it)...now to see if it'll handle crysis 2. i did get a new video card and have 8gb RAM...but only a dual core. the highest quality prolly needs the new 6cores lol
Crysis(Halo4). it has it all! Assassinations, holograms, super soldiers in suits, aliens, big alien walkers, and Earth in danger.... now where have i seen all this before......
@AceOfSpades801, crysis & crysis warhead are parallel story games. this one is is going to be great, but i would so much recommend you to play the other two as well for sake of getting a hint of its amazing gameplay & mechanics. that will also make you more interested in this game.
Looks like one I would want to play. What do people recommend as far as getting to all games in a series? Should I play the first one before I play this?
This is looking really good. However I will have to get it on a console. I can't afford a PC good enough :(
@facetious_ca have you even played crysis 1?? 1. Where do you see elites?? 2. Halo doesn't fking own the idea of invisibility. 3. You get high jumps with suit strength mode which also absorbs the fall as long as you have enough energy. 4. Crysis 2 has been in production longer than reach so technically reach stole assassinations from Crysis. 5. Again, halo doesn't own VISR. 6. The "scarab", known as a pinger in this game, has three legs and resembles nothing like a halo machine. 7. Hunters? what? its just a rein-visioned exo-suit from the first damn game. Just go away and play your gay little Halo series that has no depth, story, game play or graphics. You don't even have recoil in that game! no skill involved at all in halo. Name one damn innovative idea made by bungie besides figuring out a way to ruin the fps genre
i thought humans were fighting against aliens but in this video most of the 'aliens' look like robots with a bit of alien but this game does look sick especially the multiplayer
About the aliens, keep in mind you faced then in the ship. Now that they have left their environment they probably need suits because of earthbound bacteria and whatever is in our air could be toxic to them, you would think that some of the other aliens robots would be there though, like the big 4 legged walker that pretty much owned everything in its path
I am so confused.. This trailer is showing off Halo, right? - Scorpion bombardment - Elites - High jumps with no fall damage - Active camouflage - Assassinations - A Hunter - VISR mode - Two-legged Scarab Yes, this game looks really pretty... But couldn't they come up with some original content?
Graphs seem ok, but graphs can only be judged by the actual game view. Not videos. Kinda seems to lack the number of enemies you encounter tho :/
ichc1000x: i wasnt actually reffering to you specifically. sorry for the confusion. just people in general who are bashing it, most of whom havent played otherwise they probably wouldnt hav that view
Xbox360 for sure why? Because the PC version of this series has always had major problems. IE memory leaks, performance issues, and other stuff I wont go into, also is this vid kinda zoomed in for no reason for anybody else?
@biagio55 I'm getting the PC version. I'm not trying to bash the console versions, I just think that it may feel a bit limited.
ichc1000x: they were working with two separate engines to begin with but the console engines really werent very different from the pc engine so they decided to in a way bring the engines and the two sepate teams efforts together to make cryengine 3. also you cannot bash this game and critisised it if you havent played the original(console owners) beause other wise you would understand the hype being placed on it.
What do you know about Crysis Wars? Is it going to change anyhow? And finally, when is it coming out?
hey can anyone confrim the rumor I heard about this came getting pushed back to early next year. I saw it on G4tech tv's AOTS and xplay's little feed ticker. I don't know for you pc gamers but for the 360 and ps3 gamers. If it is early next year I'll still get it. this game looks freekin awesome.
w0w this game is going to be awesome, anyone calling himself an fps-fan and not buying this is a jerk
This looks impressive, but I'm not sure if it will justify another PC upgrade to play it. I'm interested to see how the console versions measure up. From what I've seen so far, it looks destined to set new graphical benchmarks for the 360 and PS3. It's pretty amazing what they've been able to squeeze out of said systems limited hardware specs. Still, a powerful PC will surely be the ideal way to play the game, so I'll probably wait until I get around to buying that new video card.
in the end this game will cost a fortune just to be able to play...unless you get it for consoles then its ok...but for pc ull need a quad GPU(4 nvidia or 2 dual core ati) to make it run smooth
dude thats insane. they def captured the sheer scale of the city, and now its on fire and falling on you. everything looks pretty top notch, (graphics, animations, ect), and i think this will raise the benchmark for future FPS games. if it plays anything like the first one did it'll be my new favorite shooter for sure.
