"Armor mode engaged." What the hell? Personally I prefer the old voice saying "Maximum Armor" instead. And I'm not referring to the feminine voice either. That female's voice just wasn't suitable nor was it compatible with the amount of damage, destruction and ass-kicking we all dished out in the previous Crysis games.
i had no problems playing the beta version. the game is awesome. and some spoilers to piss you guys off. prophet is dead. hahaha
you play as prophet, but you are just getting his commands after you got his nanosuite. so you are a new guy who just involved into the whole story while the aliens attack. I just played the first 2 or 3 levels of the beta, its running good - up and by 40 fps on hardcore settings, with a gtx460 but with a lot of glichtes - so its better to wait till its ready. the new graphics looks really good, but i guess the first crysis is better - this is much like a stealth game, while always had the chance to fight through and hideyourself whereever you decide in crysis, you will be shot down in crysis 2 - even if you can't see anyone 3 or 4 soldiers are firing at you, so you really need your stealth tactics, you also don't seem to have the maximum speed option, you can run, but onoly for a short time and overall it just feels to slow. And feels a bit like a cod game or something. Guess thats just what happing to games on xbox. that system just sucks and ruins great games as the whole market too, but who expect something else from microsoft. thats just thier way of making money.

I loved playing the 1st 2 games on the pc, I just hope their as good on the the consoles, or else i'm gonna get it for the pc. Gonna wait for the reviews before I buy it.
is there going to a be a multiplayer demo for PS3, because Microsoft payed to have the demo EARLY and they even paid for it to be on Xbox 360. Originally it was a Pc and PS3 exclusive
I agree with WEED, KZ3 looks a little ahead in the graphics department and overall art style plus Crysis 2 character models are rather bland. Crysis 2 gameplay elements though overshadow what KZ has to offer and the envoirnments seem more open worlded/snadbox. If my PS wasn't broke KZ3 and Crysis 2 would both be on my shopping list.
After having played the xbox demo over the past few nights, I must say it is a lot of fun, but has a slightly "been there done that" feel. The game is pretty much a watered down version of what the PC gamers have and will experience with more than a dash of Halo, CoD, and Killzone 2 thrown in for good measure. I'll get it for my console, but this is one game that is making me rethink my exclusive use of gaming on consoles. Graphically it's good, can't deny that, after playing killzone 3 demo, I'm thinking graphically for a console Killzone 3 is FAR more superior to Crysis 2 on the console. Ofcourse I am compairing demos, but it's a fair comparison, all the same.
The campaign looks fun and all but after playing the beta i'm not so sure about the MP. The muliplayer is a complete rip off of CoD from the perks to the killstreaks and the small 6v6 matches.
yea, obviously this has to b pc. played that dam multiplayer demo, it doesnt look that good and the pop-ins, the framerate and lack of originality (its almost exactly like cod...) really made it a letdown for me, here's to hoping the campaign is amazing...
Am i deaf? Where was the Maximum strength, maximum armor, cloak engaged, maximum speed?!!? The nano suit voice sounds like HAL from space odyssey.
IT IS OBVIOUS that they did not make Crysis 2 a ''heavy'' game for the pc to handle. They didn't risk making a game that wont run in the mid range pc's. They lost a lot of money from Crysis & Warhead just because it was hard for the mid-range pc to handle. They coded better so a it is fully playable for the mid-range pc!
