Fun, yet repetitive game with horrible story
after watching all the videos of this game online prior to purchase and allthe reviews, i was dissapointed not only with the gameplay, but the story
Cons:
Story: one minute you are enemies with the army, the next minute you are friends, the next your are enemies
this happens like 10 times in the story which is stupid
Gameplay:
Repetitive, in most areas, you dont even have to kill enemies, all you have to do is get to an area, and go to the checkpoint and the level is over
or get to an area, press the X button to do an action, and thats it
and there are Respawning enemies, so even if you feel like killing enemies, they will just respawn more out of no where
-There are a few "mini" boss enemies like giant tank like enemies that must be defeated to clear an area, but for the most part, the game is about going to checkpoints
-no last boss. the last area literally has you kill 4 silver looking guys that look like a different colored version of all the previous ceph in the game, and then thats pretty much it
-suit upgrades are barely noticable
Pros:
-There a few nice guys in the game, i especially liked detaching turrets(makes you a total powerhouse. and sniper rifles which are pretty fun to use when you absolutely need to kill an enemy so you can get to your checkpoint
-graphics are pretty nice
-overall feel of your character, like invisibility and tank mode as well as jumping all felt pretty cool
Overall: the game is pretty decent if you could get it for $20 but other than that, i wouldnt pay more for it, its good but is a few hours too long and gameplay is too repetitive and has 0 replay value for me
