The graphics were stunning. The music was stunning. The atmosphere was stunning. Crysis 2 is.................uh stunning. I really enjoyed this game. True the visuals were outstanding. The environments were amazingly realistic and because they portrayed a real place I felt it all the more. Huge open areas in and around New York created fantastic set pieces for some fantastic battles. The only thing that doesn't look very realistic are the human characters. They're not bad, but they aren't as amazing as the environments. The effects in this game are great; the way bullets hit the water and the way explosions light up the screen is breathtaking. You play as a marine named alcatrazz whom placed in a nano tech suit. You have to unfold the mysteries of the suit as you attempt to thwart a hostile alien invasion. You also have to deal with some company blowhards who want the suit back. So basically what I'm saying is everybody is out to get you. Fortunately that suit your wearing is a butt kicking tool that is virtually unrivaled. It enhances your speed, agility, and strength. It can cloak you(all predator style). It can generate some really tough armor. It can analyze tactical situations and allow you to view the field in infrared. And it can sustain the human inside, including by way of a built in defibralator. Like I said before you are thrust into a bad situation in which New York is under siege and you personally are being assaulted by everything that moves. But with the suit you vault off of buildings, run at high speeds, kick over cars, and basically feel like a totall killing machine at all times. The areas in which you fight are large and full of environmental objects that allow you to decide how you are going to fight. Will you sneak around cloaked and pick them off one at a time? Will you turn on your armor and tank everyone with the biggest gun you can find? Or will you run about the battleground in an attempt to out-maneuver/flank your enemies. The choice is yours and if you are anything like me you'll probably do a little bit of everything. The campaign is a solid 12-15 hours and you are put into a number of situations that allow you to be creative with your tactics. At all times things feel big and epic. The music is a grandiose millitary affair and it gets the job done nicely. I especially loved the opening theme. Crysis 2 presents a solid challenge in the difficulty department as well. I never noticed the AI being any more retarded than any other game. There are a number of unlockables and the usual multiplayer options. The controls are always responsive, though a little tricky to master at first. The weapon choices were a litte limited, sticking to the basic millitary assortment. The story was decent, but not overly gripping and it tried to make too many twists to stay interesting. There were no noticeably long load times and the game never glitched on me.

Final Briefing: One of the best looking FPS games I've ever seen. Combines tactics, speed, firepower, and stealth very effectively. Crysis 2 will leave you feeling like a real super soldier(I can't stress this enough).
