Despite all the eye candy and good gameplay mechanics, this game is broken by all it's bugs and glitches,.

Yes, Crysis 2 is a good game, it's a great game, it's visuals are close to breaking the line between virtual reality and reality it self. Despite all the A.I issues (which I'll talk about later on), the campaign is very immersive and can keep you entertained for atleast 15 hours. Ofcourse, the visuals are the main attraction of this game, details are so incredibly visible it seems like you are actually in a city under siege, but the texture glitches can be very distracting. Sometimes (or usually) at the beginning of levels the texture all around you is so blurry that you can bearly tell what the objects surroundding you depict.

this last detail (texture glitches) brings me to the next issue: A.I and script glitches. These are the most distracting things I've ever seen in a game of such quality. Sometimes your allies will extend there arms like a barbie doll, as if they came trate out of a modeling program. And sometimes the story gets stuck do to certain unexpected events such as inthe Call to Arms part; after defeating a pinger you are asked to regroup at the vehicles, so go there, and you notice that you can enter the vehicles (for some reason crytek let this happen) and run over your allies, but then the ally who is the objective is invincible, so you decide to come out and continue with the story. But the game just stands still like a rock...

Then there are also many A.I glitches, sometimes the enemies will stare at you like idiots, and sometimes they will tremble like a gollum, and some times they'll just run into walls. Yes they run into walls.

With all of the flaws aside, we can get to the good part: The graphics and gameplay mechanics.

First we should deal with the graphics: First of all, they are beautiful. ´nuf said there.

The gameplay is very immersive and the option to use stealth or to use armour mode is always availible, making the campaign fun to replay. You can customize both the nano suit and your weapons, making them adaptible to all situations. Using silencers on weapons is peticularlly useful, since they silence your shots and allow you to remain in stealth mode while you take down a few enemies. And the energy syatem is also very clever, when you use suit modes, your energy bar depletes (usually in about a minute depending on your nanosuit upgrades and the actions you perform while in these modes), making certain situations very tricky.

So, despite all the flaws, this game manages to be great!
