great!! a classic horror game..
The story is something like this, the lead character of the game (sorry I cannot remember any names) goes to this ice breaker ship stuck somewhere in the north pole and when he reaches there he find that the ship has been abandoned for years. But as he steps inside this massive ship, he discovers that he is not alone. He finds that all the crew members aboard the ship are all frozen to death but some of them have converted to zombies.
The things which I really like about this game is that there are memories of the past at lot of places inside the ship when the crew members were alive, these memories came to life by great cut-scenes. As you open a frozen door, you get inside where everything is frozen, then suddenly there will be flashback of the past when the ship was alive, its crew members were alive working, running, talking...
This game progresses by altering the past, you go back in time and try to change the events which has resulted in the present disaster. You do this from the eye of the crew members who is dead now because he didn't acted on a disastrous event the way it should have been done. Then you go back in time and you not only prevent the event from happening but also saves the life of that crew member. I really like this part. Then at the end, you meet some of its crew members whose life you have saved and the ship comes back to life again.
But, there are some cons this game has too..
This game can hog a high end system at max settings. You will frequently encounter drops is frame rate also mainly during fight scenes, specially during gun shots. The developers should have optimized this.
This game can be slow for some gamers who like lot of action and gore, but I liked this slow pace of the game. You cannot just rush in a game like this.
So, overall this is a great classic horror game. This game makes you feel like you are really walking aboard the ship stuck in the bone chilling north pole. Try this game out, you will love it as the mystery unfolds itself.
