Another Total War wannabe that stops miles short of the real MacCoy.

OK, unlike most other games, I've made up my mind about this one before I finished it......about half way through.
It's just another one of those RTT games that tries to imitate the TW series but fails miserably. The game basically tries to combine the TW style battles, with hero unit system, where you can upgrade your heros with special abilities and units with armour/attack upgrades (upgrade system is more like that found in RPGs). You have a nice enough single player campaign and a multiplayer too. The animation is not so good, but the unit models look quite nice, and the terrain looks good enough on full settings. Infact there is even the realism like where you can get better performance with your archers placed on high ground, and light infantry placed in forests.
But what really destroyes the game, a game that could have been worth playing, is the terrible terrible camera controls. You need to be a genius to focus the camera where you want, even though it is controled with the regular arrow key - mouse system. It takes ages to get the clucnky camera focused where you want it, and by then the moment's past.
Furthermore, the game's a big system hog for it's quality.
If you've played a TW game, you'll find this one lame like all others which've tried to imitate, otherwise, if you've got nothing better to spend your money on, well it's worth a try, maybe you'll be the chosen one who can control the camera.
