This game is complex, exciting and very.... very addictive. Since summer of this year i have played 258 hours and am completely addicted. The game offers a variety of ways to play and many small details are completely down to you. The dlc for the most part is fantastic with the best ones being Sword of Islam and Character Creator. (in my opinion) The game allows you to select from a large host of countries and allows you to create a variety of kingdoms that are dorment (or have no ruler or land) during the games start. The attributes your character collects can completely change the playing experience and so can other factors. (such as religion and skills) There is so much to do in this game that i still learn things every day even after 10.75 days in game. Once you get to understand the game it is not very difficult but it certainly is a challenge for those just starting. (though some countries have a more privileged start) There are also a vast amount of titles in game such as Grandmaster (have yet to attain), Pope (used command list to get), Doge (did not have but when i was dethroned from throne of Italy in favour of son he became Doge of Venice for some strange reason which not only ended my game but ended my Dynasty), Duke (and Muslim equal), Count (and Muslim equal), King (and Muslim equal) and Caliph. (Muslim equivalent of Pope, i have had this title numerous times while trying out Sword of Islam DLC)
In my opinion this game is very deserving of a 9.5 though there is something missing that keeps me from rating it a 10. Perhaps it is the fact that we cannot go in and see battles or participate in them or it could be that we still cannot play as Pagans without cheats or inheritance.
