Cruis’n USA is not a good game. This is not a good game to rent, own, or even borrow. Although there is a certain amount of satisfaction gained from speeding past all the other racers and placing first in every race, it quickly wears off. The graphics are pretty poor which makes the game harder to play as speed increases and the landscape begins to fly by. The sound goes along with the graphics perfectly, definitely not helping the game out. The story of the game is simple. Drive across the U.S. and race other drivers along the way. The controls handle surprisingly well and are the redeeming quality of the game. The physics aren’t worth mentioning because there are none to speak of. I recommend this game to those who want an old school racing simulator with terrible physics.
