Crisis Core thus, recreates one of these great mysteries, developing at one side the life of Zack Fair along his journey to become a SOLDIER 1st class and on the other hand, the events preceding the story of FFVII.
The story develops and introduces many new characters such as Genesis and Angeal (Zack companion and guardian), whom as fellows of the legendary Sephiroth are respected heroes of the top that SOLDIER has to offer. These is where Zack joins in one of the most captivating stories of the saga. Within its condensed the present, growth and decline of each character.
However, what is impressive and remarkable, is taht despite knowing the end of the story, Crisis Core keeps you close to the development of it and higtens your emotions to the max until the very end FMV, thats is without a doubt one of the best that the PSP has seen.
About the gameplay, CC is established as an action RPG, continuing with the Random Encounters with free mobility in the area of the fight. Similarly, the use of the "materia" has returned , which now has a greater complexity in terms of their treatment as they can be improved, combined and even converted SP (Spirit Points). Another new feature for the series is the mechanism of the DMW (Digital Mind Wave) which is run like a slot of three pieces representing the memories of the other main characters iteraction. This system is in charge of the complex level up system and the limit breaks.
The composition of the music is extraordinary and again we hear many of the songs composed by Nobou Uematsu and great original compositions, which accompanied by a very good voice acting complements the quality of the game.
Another aspect to highlight is that the player does not have complete freedom of the destinations or the use of vehicles (like in previous hgmaes), since like any SOLDIER you are assigned to a mission that you must accompliish. However there are times when you can step through the central part of the city and the suburbs of the same, where you will find another of of the most important characters in the entire universe of FF. Aerith, allowing more time to develop the story that relates her to Zack and the events following the game. You can also choose from a number of individual missions, where you need to kill certain targets and win some nice items as awards. This space of missions significantly increases the replay value of the game and lets you discover more secrets involved in the game.
The scenarios are amazingly developed and the interactions between the characters become more powerful throughout the game. In the same way Zack mature throughout history, and is confronted with truly tragic events that lead to the classic scene of Nibelheim. There are many features in the game, and all of them make a whole of the biggest stories of the RPG universe. In the same way the final scenes become one of the most emotional moments in the video game game world . For all this and more Crisis Core is an invaluable RPG that is easily one of the best games of 2008 and of the PSP.
