One of the most rewarding stories I have had the pleasure of playing through.
User Rating: 8.5 | Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII PSP
Now I know that there are a lot of reviews for this game since it came out a while ago, but I just beat it over my spring break and it wouldn't feel right not to honor this piece of art with words of gratitude. This is the first game I have beaten on my psp since I bought it and I am so thankful I picked up this game. Amazing is hardly fitting for this game, but I am at a lack of words to describe it any better. I know that based on what I am saying it should have more than an 8.5, but I will explain my reasoning for that. All you need to know is that if you want a heart wrenching story that begs you to know more then go and buy this game. I have rarely been as attached to a protagonist as with this game. The story is a solid 10/10 and I wish I could of had more.
The reason I gave it an 8.5 instead of a 9.0 is that the combat can get repetitive since it is a 12+ hour game. There were times that I really wished I could just walk through an area and not have to deal with any monsters since they were easy to kill; however, there were also countless epic battles that I greatly enjoyed.
Crisis Core: FFVII is an epic game that will grab at your heart with each cut scene. I would recommend this game to anyone with a psp.
