Another beat-em-up from Koei. Think Dynasty Warriors in space.
The weapon upgrade system is neat, though you can never actually max out your weapon all the way, since there's no option to replay past levels for extra experience.
The Psionics can be pretty good, but they'll end up costing a lot of money to achieve and maintain.
The fighting system is decent, but more often than not, you'll probably get shot in the ass by someone right behind you that you didn't see.
The voice-acting and storyline is really subpar and annoying.
Now that I've got my complaining out of the way, I'll get into what I love about the game.
I love the weapons. About ten different weapons, all with different features. The gain experience the more you use them, and become more powerful. You can also add on accessories to expand their killing power. Most weapons also have a secondy sword function, if you wanna have a little melee action.
The bosses are fun, since they're all weak to a specific weapon in your arsenal.
Some of the quests can drag on a while, but overall, they're pretty fun.
