User Rating: 7.7 | Crash Twinsanity PS2
Crash Twinsanity starts off with Crash and Cortex throwin' it down, as always, but along the way, they are greeted by Victor and Moritz, two super smart and super powered parakeets. I can sense some of you drifting away. Anyway, Victor and Moritz plan to steal Cortex's brain and destroy Crash's home. Relizing that there is more at stake then their grudges toward each other, Crash and Cortex team up to stop Victor and Moritz. The gameplay is pretty straightforward platforming most of the time. I don't like how Crash jumps. His jumps used to be floaty, and there wasn't anything out of Crash's jumping distance. But this time, you have to double jump just to do what should be a normal jump. In other words, It takes a double jump just to make something that looks like it would only require a regular jump. At least he doesn't flip every time he jumps anymore. There are gameplay types in this game that I had alot of fun with, like Rollerbrawl, which is Crash and Cortex fighting each other in those dustclouds, like in cartoons, and you guide them through hazards like sort of a 3D Marble Madness. Another thing is called Humiliskate, which Crash rides on Cortex like a snowboard. The graphics are the best in the series. All the environments look great. Cortex's lip-syncing looks very good. It looks as if he's really talking to you. I almost forgot to mention that this is the funniest Crash game yet, by far. This is a good game, and hardcore Crash fans will find something in it to enjoy.
