A neat little game for the Nintendo DS.

User Rating: 8 | Crash of the Titans DS
For starters, this game mixes the old Crash with the new Crash. It has Crystals and Gems but no Relics. The game only has 8 levels. The bosses in this game aren't replayable, so once you beat them, you beat them.

The levels aren't too bad but their checkpoints can be annoying, for example - you get a check point and then you have to fight mutants/titans to unlock a door and then you die and you go back to the fight.

The mutants/titans in this game are different from the console and GBA versions. This game has less than 24 mutants/titans, but they all have their special power that can involve using the MIc thingy.

Along with the levels come 'Events' that have you do stuff to get more Mojo - which you can use to buy upgrades (yes, you buy upgrades in this rather then automatically getting them).

In the end, you defeat Cortex who escapes his robot called 'Cortexbot' (not Doomnatior) and lands on the shore below. Back on Wumpa, Coco wonders what happened to Nina. Then the credits roll...I'm not entirely sure if there's a secret ending for this game.

Bottom line, I would recommend this game as its 8 levels are detailed and trying to get 100% is a nice challenge and the extras can be fun. It's a neat game for the DS that is worth getting.
