Are you ready to crash n' burn!? Feel the thrill of spinning through a flaming wreck at 200km/h? Well stop getting ready, cause there's not much to get your hopes up for.

I don't like comparing games too much but if I were to say what Crash n' Burn is like, its pretty much a seriously toned down version of Burnout. The problem with the game is that it's too straight forward and gets old, really fast. The maps are pretty short and simple and you'll just be racing around the same old place over and over until your 10 laps or whatever are up.

As far as the cars, you can modify them and get points so you can pimp up your ride. Well the car can be as pimp as the batmobile, it'll still feel awfully similar to that compact you started out with. The upgrades are mostly for looks and speed; the actual handling of the cars are very straight forward, which isn't necessarily bad, it's just the car's physics are way too toned down.

The graphics aren't really impressive. Although your eyes won't bleed looking at them, their, just like the game: really simple. Everything is clean and the lines are solid (not jagged). There are simple reflection effects on the cars, and the particle effects aren't too bad, its just everything's really bland and dull, just like the sound. The soundtrack is absolute trash. You'll forget about it right away when racing. The crashes are passable in sound but everything else is really simple.

Simple. That's what this game is. Very, very simple and bland. You'll get bored of it quick. Simple games can be very good, I like some simple games. It's just Crash N' Burn is simple to the point where it drips boredom. Before you know it, you'll have your copy of Crash N' Burn stashed away somewhere in the back of your collection.
