This is a fun game to play by yourself but it's best suited for a group of friends.

This game is indeed different from the previous Crash Bandicoot games. In the previous games there was a lot of action combined with a wonderful story, not to mention the secret endings and hours upon hours of game play. This also has hours of game play, but it is repetitive and may become boring and frustrating at times. It has a good ending, but nothing compared with the previous games. I myself am a Crash fan and even try to eat my pizza backwards, but this game was definitely different then what I expected. At first I was very upset, but after a while of playing, it seemed to get better. In Adventure Mode, the way the game is played is that in each level, you must get 3 silver trophies (doesn't have to be consecutively) and then you get a gold trophy for that level. In addition to that there are also gems, crystals and relics to be gotten. After you meet the requirements for that warp rooms boss and beat him, then you may pass to the next warp room. There are 4 warp rooms plus an additional 5th warp room with extra levels. This game is great for people with friends, as there are many other modes other than adventure mode that allow for multi player fun. In fact, Adventure Mode can played in 1 player or 2 player mode. There are many different things to do to complete this game and even when you feel you've beaten the game, there is still a lot of replay value. When playing the game, you can choose from a list of 8 characters, 4 good and 4 bad, that include all the original members of the Crash Series and a new one called Rilla Roo. There are many modes to choose from and different types of games including Ballistix, Tank Wars, and Medieval Mayhem to suit you're playing style. All in all, whether or not you're a Crash Bandicoot fan or not, this is still a good game to pick up. But I really miss Naughty Dog.
