An old school character makes his way onto the GBA with a Huge Adventure. But is it really that HUGE!?

User Rating: 7.2 | Crash Bandicoot XS GBA
We all know Mario, we all know Sonic, but do we all know Crash? Hell Yeah! With various PSOne outings under his belt, Crash makes his way onto the GBA, although his games may not be as memorable as Mario's or Sonic's, his are more of a side step for the platformer genre.

GamePlay: It's pretty much a traditional platformer. Run, Jump, Duck, Slide. You know, that old thing. However, Crash's outing mixes it up a bit by throwing it some truly awesome 3D gaming sections. There's the flying part, which is pretty cool, but the best gameplay aspect of Huge Adventure has to be 'running away from the snow beast.' This is truly entertaining and very fun. Graphics: The characters are almost in revelutionary 3D, but they ain't. The characters in the game are actually quite cool looking with the 3D flair added to them. However, I must say that I was very unimpressed by the lack of detail in the backgrounds.

Sound: Average to say the least. It has it's moments, but for the most part, it's just average.

Value: Beating the game is actually quite easy with very forgetable boss battles. But you can return for a second run through to collect all the mini-items so you can witness the TRUE ending to the game.

Tilt: The GBA is full of platformers, and sad to say, this one just BARELY sticks out.
