- "Too short"
Crash Bandicoot Purple : Ripto's Rampage is a very strange game. They have mixed both Crash and Spyro together to make two different games. What they should have done is made it all one game with the pathways of both Crash and Spyro. Sadly, they sold each game seperatly and the rating of the game decreased radically. The length of this game is terrible. You can beat it so quickly it is quite annoying. The storyline is nothing but the most basic of outlets but none the less you will come back to play the mini games again.
A lot of the mini games are pretty fun but there seem to repeat them again and again. This crash game is a take on the Playstation game, Crash Bash which featured these types of mini games. The graphics are pretty good but the sound is not very good. There isn't really much sound at all. The Spyro minigame which you can activate sometimes when you switch it on is okay but once you beat level 10 you just go back to the beginning. Overall the game is not too bad but it is very short. If both of the games were put together then I am sure that many more people would have been more satisfied.

No offence to Gamespot, but they really like the minigames in this Crash/Spyro game? I find them to be a pile of junk.
