What fans wanted!

Who didn't love Mario on Nintendo in the late 80's, Sonic on Genesis in the early 90's and Crash in the late 90's on play station? They were all fun but Crash was my favorite. I just loved it's simple lay out with so many various fun and challenging levels! Crash one and 2 were great and crash 3 was just a blast, tons of replayabilty. The series had a ton of potential but didn't deliver after that. The developers tried to do something different and it didn't work! You can say the same with some of the sonic games in the 2000's. They tried to make it open world with bigger stories but that's not what most fans of these games neccesarliy want. We fell in love with these games for their fun left to right or north and south levels period. I hate open world games cause I don't want to search for things. I just want to jump on boxes, spin attackers, run away from boulders and correctly time things. I JUST WANT TO PLAY! I know there are a lot of people who enjoy open world games and developers need to make games to cater to them. However many of us fell in love with these games for a reason and for much of the 2000's we missed these types of games. I am glad to see the success the crash and spyro remakes are having. Even sonic has returned to some of it's basics with sonic generations and sonic mania. They are fun, it's that simple!!!! I hope this continues. I hope to see more "classic gameplay" crash games in the future. This game is a great remake of the originals. Graphics look great! It is tough though but a lot of fun. I recommend!
