A Pick Up & Play Cult Classic That Keeps You Playing For Hours

User Rating: 8 | Riot Act X360
It was made as pick up and play game, those behind Crackdown didn't expect such a cult and fan base following.
With its cool slick cartoon graphics are are very similar to Borderlands, its more fun than serious as you act like superman jumping from rooftops and punching enemies so hard they fly through the air to their deaths.
Basically you are an agent, a cloned super soldier or cop sent by the Agency to fight three powerful gangs in control of futuristic Pacific City.

The Los Muertos, a Latino drug gang, The Volk a Russian Mafia like organisation and the high tech Shai-Gen Corporation who's leader is responsible for the technology that was used to clone you with. Basically the game is about killing off all eight gang lieutenants of each group, before coming after the boss himself and destroying the gang fully in the area.

To do this you have an array of Agency weapons, as well as the gang's own arsenals that you can take from their dead and back to any of the supply points around the city, and it becomes a part of your armory and with full ammo too.
Its clearly obvious however the gangs are better armed than the agency with rocket launchers, grenade launchers, high tech sniper rifles and heavy machine guns.

To also help you, your creators have given your superhuman abilities like super strength and agility.
Forget about running through the streets or driving when you can jump from building to building or run along rooftops to your target.
Even forget your guns, when you can kick an enemy hundreds of feet into the air and even throw cars at them too.
Basically this game is not meant to be take seriously, its fun and deviant which is what is so good about it.

A pick up and play game that actually keeps you playing for hours on end.
Its cheap now, you can get it for roughly £10 in most retailers pre-owned so go for it and you will have a game that you can turn to when you are enraged with the likes of bigger games.
