Crackdown 2 - E3 Official Trailer (Xbox 360)

Its weird, it seems that Prototype came out after Crackdown so it would be the one stealing ideas, and they are for separate consoles, so any visual compairison may be misguided.

I don't get it.

i'll stick to crackdown 1 and prototype!!!!!!!!

Crackdown 2 has sooooooo stolen the idea of zombies loose in the town from Prototype. Prototype is da bezt, maybe not the graphics, but the gameplay is insane, and the story isnt so bad

DFen, if you ever played the first one, you'd know what it was about, which is pretty much what you said. I said it from the second I played the first one...it's basically Halo mixed with Grand Theft Auto. You can't describe it any more accurately than that. Having said that, however, it's a really fun game and very addicting, even though the later difficulty becomes EXTREMELY difficult.

hahhaa looks like a halo game with freeroam play, lets see how this game goes probably rent it

The first Crackdown is one of my favorite games. And it kinda disappoints me to see that they're not sticking to their roots. It was a good change of pace to play a game where I'm not killing monsters or aliens or something. Think about it... Some of the latest big-name games are about killing some sort of monster Halo Gears of War Fallout (Yes, I know you ALSO kill humans, but for majority it's monsters) I'd like to see something a little different, since the original already had it going perfectly.

it is the first monsters from number 1 they vary in size. and there are no gangs..just human resistance groups

I absolutely LOVED the 1st one. Can't wait for the sequel. It's on the top of my wish list.

Looks a bit like prototype, with the 'infected' and whatnot.

A few people have hit on it in this thread, its a basic destruction game. You run around blowing stuff up. I loved the first and played through it a few times just to kill the boss's different ways. I hope the enemies are stronger sure but even if its just a better version of the first then I'm super stoked for this one.

I want a story like something out of GTA, a better RPG-like upgrade system, and badass 1 on 1 boss battles where I am actually challenged! Give me this, and everything from part 1, and I will be happy!

Think about it, this is the sequel meaning more content added if I'm correct... THAT MEANS 1000 AGILITY ORBS!!! I'm only missing 4 agility orbs in the 1st crackdown and gave up, I don't wanna have to start looking for another 1000, lol
