WOW! So much better than the first

This game is surprisingly underrated on a general level. I got the first Crackdown and played for a maximum of 5 hours. The game was good in some parts but failed in most.

This one, though similar, is much better. Despite lack of story and real depth, the game manages to immerse players. Both times that I started playing "for a little while", I played for 4+ hours. The combat system rewards you for evolving your agent and the cars are much more fun. Killing freaks is surprisingly satisfying. Watching their green blood splattering all over your supercar as they blow up with a squelch-y sound is fun. And there are loads of them around, which intensifies the fun. The system of day/night variation of enemies is cool as well.

There are still problems, like climbing, but the gameplay is still SO MUCH FUN that its easy to look past it. Although, its not the best game ever, its still one of the most enjoyable third person sandbox games I have played, and I have played most of them
