Counter Strike: Source is a good game, but could have been a whole lot better.

CS: S puts you in the shoes of the Terrorists and the Counter-Terrorists. Obviously, the Terrorists are bad and the Counter-Terrorists are good. Each of them have a certain role depending on the map. One of them is the Terrorists have to plant a bomb at a certain spot, and the Counter-Terrorists have to defuse the bomb or, kill all the people on the opposing team, which is pretty much what everyone does. Another one is the hostage rescue; the Terrorists have to defend or gaurd the hostages while the Counter-Terrorists have to bring the hostages to safety.

Ok, I told you what the game is about, but now I'll tell you how it is, and if its worth playing/buying.

When you start a new round, at the beggining, you must open up the "buy" menu, which allows to buy you're weapon(s) and/or equipment. Sometimes that is not good. For example, if you're on a team with a bunch of people and one or two or three, etc, etc people are doing good and getting all the kills, you will not get as much money so you will be limited to what weapons or gear you want to buy.

The gameplay is quite fass passed, kinda run-and-gunnish, which is OK. CS: S isn't a very tactical game at all. You don't have to make a plan, or tell you're team-mates where to go and the where to set up an ambush, etc, ect. This is fine to me but might not be fine to other people who are looking for a more tactial shooter.

The aiming in CS: S is very sloppy and can get annoying at times. It seems when you crouch, you're aim is superb and almost perfect. When you're standing up, man, you've got to pretty lucky to get an accurate aim and kill someone.

When you die, you're out for the whole round amd have to watch another player until the round is finished. This can get annoying at times since you die so fast in the game.

Another thing that annoyed me was the ammount of trash talk and swearing on the voice chat and text chat. This game is filled with immature teens that get pissed off at you when you die.

Overall, CS: S is a good game that I think anyone who doesn't mind a sort of run-and-gun feel.
