Excellent Game, Great fun!

User Rating: 8.9 | Counter-Strike: Source PC
Counterstrike Source is the next installment in the Counterstrike Series. Based on the highly successful Source engine, There wasn't much that could go wrong. And it didn't. Disregarding the 10yr olds who overuse the mike, and the badmouthing, and the AWP, Counterstrike is a great multiplayer game. The Player picks a side, either Counter terrorist or Terrorist, and battles it out each round to complete objectives, or (more often) slay the other team. You can buy your weapons at the beginning of the round, and on the sound of "Ok, lets go!" go forth into large, pretty maps, full of little hiding places, and shiny, bump-mapped floors. If you have a good enough graphics card. Mind you, The source engine has this mysterious way of running well on low and high end machines. Counterstrike, however, has it's flaws. Most players you will come across will have one (or more) of these traits;

Young and Annoying
Pro and Cocky
Badmouth
Hacker
AWP whores

These type of people will 'shape' the servers you play on, desperately trying to avoid them. The difference between newbies and pro's is huge, with starting playing counterstrike an uncomfortable experience for some. Never quit, keep practicing, and you'll get it. A good framerate and good mouse help also. Overall, Great Gameplay, keeps you addicted, wanting more. Darn good graphics, with compatibility for lower systems, and good, bloody fun.
