giving a game this good a score below 9.0 would just be insane...

To tell you the truth, each time i went to the store i overlooked HL1 and Counter Strike... then i finaly get a new pc on christmas morning of 2005 and i found out just how much ive been missing when i got half-life 2 and css along with the computer... i built :P... to tell you the truth i never really enjoyed half life 2 after i got to ravenholm, but once i started playing counter strike source i couldn't put it down... The objective is simple and yet it takes you a while to get used to the realistic gun physics... You are either the terrorists or counter terrorists. If you are the terrorists your objective is usualy to defend hostages and/or stay alive. If you are Counter terrorists your objective is to save the hostiges or eluminate all terrorists. I really had a rough start with this one though. The problem was the way you handle the guns. Just as in real life the machine guns spray bullets and have little chance of killing a far off target, but a sniper is very precise when you aim through the scope and the same with the other guns. I personaly use the P90 because i usualy rush, but thats beside the point. It is different and more realistic then almost any game on the market today. You have 1 life per round, and rounds can last anywhere from a minute to about 10 depending on the level and amount of players...
You'll just have to trust me on this one. If you own a good... no no even an OK pc you should pick this game up, its pretty much compatible with anything made in the past 5 years :P its an utterly adictive game thats hard to give up...
