Old School Counter-Strike with a fresh coat of paint!

I used to play Counter-Strike a lot back in the day when it was all the rage. It has been YEARS since I played the game so when I heard it was coming out for the PS3 I was very excited. Luckily, this game does not disappoint! The graphics are decent and the action is very quickly paced. This game has solid online play, I have not experienced a single bit of lag yet. Head shots in this game are vital to a team's success, sometimes frustratingly so. Probably the best part of this game is that you don't have those cheap perks you find in other games like Call of Duty. No random missiles coming down from the sky to kill you, no idiotic nuclear bombs ending everyone's game, it's just you and how well you can either shoot the other guys or out strategize them.
I have won a few matches where I was able to sneak the hostages out of the terrorist camp. I have also won matches where I was able to plant the bomb and defend it by myself against a full enemy team. It's challenges like this where I feel an immense amount of tension but also massive amounts of satisfaction when things go the way you hope they do. This game requires a LOT of skill and practice to be good at. You'll know very quickly if the people on your team are good or not. Ultimately though, for the $12 I paid for this game, I've already gotten my money's worth out of the title and it's only been a week! Easily worth the money!
